  3. You can stress the eyes in many ways. This can manifest itself due to your own mental/physical stress. A twitch is showing that the muscles are not fully relaxed and this may be due to fatigue brought on by stress. Another form of stress to the eyes can be prescriptive. If you are not wearing the correct prescription or your prescription has changed, then you could be stressing the muscles. Likewise, if you do wear glasses and they have been manufactured badly (optical centres are incorrect) then the eye can be pulled to one side creating a muscle imbalance leading to twitching.

    May be best to take a rest and see how the eyes respond. If they come right then you are most likely suffering from stress. If they don't then perhaps consider the other options above.
