Can your hair be wet when you get highlights?

If you take a shower and your hair is wet and the you go to get highlights can they still do it even though your hair is wet?

Hi, NO your hair needs to be dry and at least one or two days of not being washed you want you hair to be dirty when you dye or do any chemical things to your hair it protects your scalp and helps the product work better after what ever kind of work you have done on your hair thy wash it after words.

Depends on the dye most likely no.

But they will dry it for ya more than likely

No... the water in the hair will dilute the volume of the developer that lightens the hair and it will only lighten probably half way... hair does have to be clean for chemical services but it does have to be dry.
