My dad has hazel eyes, and my mom has blue green eyes. And I have darker green eyes

So can eye colors combine from both of your parents?

  1. I don't think their eye colours can physically merge into one colour, but I know you can have eyes of different colours (like David Bowie's one brown and one blue eye).

  2. 50% of you is from your dad

    50% from mom

so most of the time yeah

  3. My dads are brown, mom is blueish green.

Mine are brown sometimes with a green tint.

  4. It is a biological fact that two blue eyed parents cannot produce a brown-eyed child. So if they have a brown-eyed child that means one of the parents, at least, is not biologically connected to the child.

And that's all I know about what "gift of color" parents can give to their children's eye color.
