Can your phone number on a Net 10 phone be changed?

I have a Net 10 phone and I am being harassed by someone I used to know but am no longer friends with. He will not get the messaged that I want nothing to do with him. He keeps texting and calling my number. I want to know if my number can be changed to avoid further problems with this person.

There are a couple of ways to change your phone number.  

If your phone is a cheap one you can buy a new one with a phone card for less than you can buy minutes.  Right now from the website you can purchase the Nokia 1600 for $30 and get a free 300 minute card.  The phone comes with 300 minutes when you activate and the 300 minute card will make 600 minutes for $30.

Also the Moto V176 can be bought for $60 with a $60 card.  This gives you 900 minutes.  

Once you have your new phone transfer your minutes and service time from your old phone to your new one.
