Can your teeth affect the way you speak?

I've noticed that since I've started wearing braces and my teeth have moved I'm finding it much easier to pronounce words. Before I would have trouble pronouncing certain letters but now I don't. I'm just wondering if it's because of the braces or something else. Thx for your answers.

oh yeah, because if u hav ur theet like outside of ur mouth almos is like harder to pronounce words, or if someone has separate theet they cant pronounce "S" F"  funny

yes they can i just got braces off i have a bonded retainer on on the back of my teeth that may cause a lisp
