Can your toddler tell if you are pregnant?

The damndest thing happend this morning my 15 month old came up 2 my tummy and said Baby i said what? She said maybe baby clear as day i just wrote it off as a fluke but later today when i was on the phone she brought pregnancy test up to me held it out and yelled Now at me! She had to go into our bedroom and into the mst bath cabnet and in a box to get that out .My sister in law says it true but i don't know.

yes my oldest did he told me both time i was having a baby!! for like 2 weeks before i knew!!

Oh yes they can they have weird powers and know it right away. Why is your toddler touching yout belly and saying baby??

My daughter kept telling me she wanted a boy baby long before I ever confirmed my 2nd pregnancy. I think in some strange way they can tell. Needless to say, she was very happy when she found out she was indeed having a baby brother.

I expect she overheard you and Daddy talking about the possibility of a new baby and saw you with the pregnancy test... kids pick up on more than you know.

either that or this is a slightly exagerated story.

My sister was only a couple of days late so she didnt think that she would be pregnant but then my niece was telling everyone that her mommy had a baby in her belly so my sis took the test and she was. But as far as going to get a pregnancy test and handing it to her, I think that is a bit too much. I mean do you take test that ofter that she know what they are for?

Kids are very perceptive,they will notice differences in mommy.If you don't say something it might cause him/her a lot of upset.

i think so, most kids can sense when something is about to happen.. i think i would just go with it. but make sure you put some locks on the medicine cabinets so she doesn't get hurt.

It's so weird, a girlfriend of mine just found out she was pregnant and about a week before she knew, her 3 year old niece came up to her and said "Auntie, you have a baby in your belly!"  I really think young children are so sensitive to those types of things!
