Canada PM does not attend Beijing Olympics?

  1. I agree. I wish bush had the same backbone.


  2. He's not attending, but I think it's for personal reasons. It has nothing to do with protesting China or making a statement. As if the Canadian PM not being in attendance would make the Chinese change their ways, when dozens of leaders, including Bush, will be there.  

  3. I agree with Ua 's answer.  Who cares if he isn't there.  Canada has lost face by his not being there.  The rest of the world doesn't care , he is minor player anyway.

    The athlete's care that's who.  He should have gone to support them at the very least.  He is probably with his wife and kids swimming at the cottage, being the selfish guy he has portrayed himself to be.  It is a disgrace that he isn't there.  You can protest China by boycotting some of their imports but hey, that's money , can't do that.  He should have gone.  Shame on you .
