Canada Post's XpressPost - Pickup Time for Parcels ONLY after 5pm?

Question

I live in Ontario Canada and will be using Canada Post's XPresspost service to deliver my parcel (1 business day). Simple question, does it make a difference "when" i deliver my parcel to the Canada Post reception to get the Xpresspost service? For instance, would my package ship sooner if i deleiver it to CP by 8:30am in the morning as opposed to 4:30pm?

Yes -- if you bring it sooner in the morning, it will go out sooner.  If you call the Post Office, they can probably tell you the specific times that the parcels are picked up each day.  If you dropped off a parcel at 4:30 pm, it won't go out until the next day.
