Canada Post Delivery?

Question

I live in OTTAWA and I have items that have been in British Columbia since the 3rd (a Friday). When would they deliver it from British Columbia to Ottawa (would they deliver on the 4th or 5th, since they are weekends?). Monday (the 6th, today) was a holiday, so I am assuming they would not deliver on a holiday. When will I have my items?

Also, once the items are in Ottawa, will it be brought to my house the same day it reaches Ottawa?

You might get them by Thursday or Friday depends on the backlog. Hi from BC.
