Is there any way to ring your own extension?

I.e. I have a phone in the bedroom and a phone in the living room. Is there any way to call the bedroom phone from the living room?

Note: I do not have call waiting...

No, but some types of dual-handest cordless phones have the option to page and talk with the other handset without using the phone line.

there is the Uniden phone which have "DirectLink" and you can call any extension in your house....I use it!
