The conditions were tough for the batting side, given the cloud cover. Therefore, the Canadian skipper, Kesavan Juvarajan, choose to field first after winning the toss.
Answering their captain’s call, the Canadian bowlers started off the show on a high, making the new ball talk with seam and swing. Maintaining a flawless line and length, the Canadians gave Nepali batsmen no chance to settle down at the crease.
Jobanjot Singh began the proceedings with a bang, removing the Nepali opener Fajlur Rahman in the fourth over of the innings. Rahamn could manage to score only three runs before being trapped in front of the wickets.
Three overs later, Singh once again picked up a wicket, sending http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Naresh-c78656 Budayair back to the tent when he was batting at six.
The next batman, Rajesh Pulami Magar, also failed to lift his side and lost his wicket to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Trevor-Manoosingh-c94366 after contributing just nine runs. The opening batsman, Sagar Pun, played 59 balls for his 15 before becoming the next victim of Manoosingh’s superb
bowling.
