In the following battle of Women’s Singles, Lohaynny Vicente of Brazil failed to overpower Canada’s Bethany So, who played better badminton and won the straight game fight. The Brazilian put up a little resistance in the opening half of the first game, but
failed to overcome her challenger and lost with a score of 13-21.
In the second set, Vicente completely failed to resist against the firing Canadian, as she made many unforced errors by hitting the bird out of the court from the side lines. Her negative game became the major reason of her defeat in the second set, where
she lost with a stunning difference of 9-21. This Women’s singles fight ended in just 20 minutes with the margin of 13-21 and 9-21.
