Canada cell number help?!?

I live in england, uk and would like to text my friend in canada which she has a canadian "cell" number which she give me a number which is 11 digits long, does anyone have the number i can put before it as she isnt recieving my texts or anything :S help!

  1. if it has 001 or +1 then it's complete.maybe your network is not supporting international txt. I know i had to call my provider and they had to activate it. Good luck!

    hmmm...i was just counting digits,it should have 13 all together


  2. you may have to put the + in front of the 1 from what I understand.. so you would have +1and then the area code and her phone number. To add the + it should be the zero(hold it down) then add the phone number starting with 1

  3. 11 digits sounds complete.  To dial into any Canadian number, you dial "1" first.  The cell would be something like 1 - area code (3 digits) - phone number (7 digits).

  4. 00 then 1 then then the phone number starting with the second digit she gave you.

  5. Did you put the 00 before the 1 when dialling?

  6. You have to dial 00+1+city code+local number.
