I was just wondering what anyone thought about relocating to Canada, pros/cons. Dont get me wrong I love the U.S. and all that it stands for but it seems like time for a change. Does anyone know the facts ie;.. cost of living, employment, any other pertinent info? It just seems from the people I have met from there are very happy but I was not able to get into a full detail discussion with them at the time.(I was working they were traveling). All opinions please. Thanks

  2. I live 90 minutes North of Toronto and I love it.  Lots of clean air, lakes, friendly people.  Job prospects are fair.  Cost of living can be expensive.  Everything keeps going up, like Natural Gas, Food, Gas for vehicles and Housing.  It is a great country to live in regardless.  Depending on where in Canada, it varies widely.  East Coast in cooler weather, harsher winters, whereas the West Coast is much milder all year round.

  3. Well i live in Canada and have my entire life. I love it ehre because of all the diverse people. There are so many people from around the world wether it be from the U.S. or all the way around the world. I live in toronto which is the most populated city in Canada. There are many job oppertunities here and so much to learn, see and do. The general population is very kind and welcoming to new comers. Toronto is also extremely safe. It is ranked one of the safest large cities in North America. Living in Toronto can be relativly pricey if you are interested in living in a house not appartment. There are smaller cities that are not as costly to live in that are a simple 20-45 minute drive from the big city. I think you and many would be happy living in Canada. And Toronto seems like a great choice for anybody.

    hope that helps
