Canada laws on peircing?

i'm 14, turning 15 this summer but next summer with my friend we're driving to canada! it'll be my 16th birthday and my friend will be almost 17. question being, if we drive there, we can get a tattoo or our bodies peirced without consent right?

I'm pretty sure all the provinces are the same. Piercings you must be 16 and tattoos you must be 18. So, sorry no tattoos but go ahead with the piercings. :)

You will need parental consent to get across the border.

I don't think there are laws in most provinces.  If they will pierce anything but ears you probably don't want to be there.  Definitely stay away from anyone that will tattoo a minor without consent.

No.  Any reputable peircing operation will require proof of age.  If you're under 18 you'll need parental permission.  

Where did you get the idea that you don't need consent?
