Canada post charges to receiver in same province?

im delivering a parcel in canada to an address in the same province. does the person receiving the item have to pay any extra charges at the door?

i would pay the shipping charges, gas charge etc. on the canada post website so is that enough? does the receiver have to pay anything extra?

  1. No, actually sending anything within Canada doesn't cost anything for the receiver. As long as you don't send it Cash On Demand (COD).

    Its when you bring things in from other countries you have to pay taxes and/or duty fee's for certain amounts.. :)


  2. No.  The only time you need to pay to get a package is if it is if you order something COD or you need to pay taxes or duty for something from another country.
