(the letter is alittle bigger then a normal letter) i was thinking maybe she thinks i was sending to canada i would have said something but by the time i noticed others were sending things i didnt want to be rude..

  1. Most likely they will return it. If they send it anyway (which they sometimes do, I know not why) it will likely go by slow boat via China. One of my parcels overseas that I thought was going by plane, went surface ( read boat) and took over 5 months to get there. So I hope they return it to you as having insufficient postage.

When you are spending your money, making sure you get what is needed can be done politely and firmly. The act of making sure need not be rude.

  2. http://www.canadapost.ca/personal/offeri...

It looks like it was too cheap, the minimum price for international (other than the US) is $1.60.

If you are lucky it may go through anyway, if not, it will simply be sent back to the return address and you can go in and add the necessary extra postage.

  3. Sounds like the price for "overweight" letter within Canada

International letters start at more than that...

It will either be returned to you if there is a return address or the recipiants will have to pay the excess postage on arrival.

  4. If it is incorrect, and you have your return address on it, it will be sent back to you with a notice saying not enough postage.
