The fifth match of the day took place between Canada and Netherlands at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the Canadian side putting up a disappointing show, and failing to chase the 136-run target set by their opponents.

The Canadian innings showcased mediocre performances by the batsmen – opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/R-Gunasekera-c2231 (9) were unimpressive, and the disappointments continued as Raza-ur-Rehman (1) and Cheema (0) were sent back to the pavilion by Bukhari,
one after the other, leaving their side at a precarious 22 for 3 in the 6th over.
