Canada will host 2014 Women’s World Team Squash Championship – Squash News
Canada earns the rights to hold the prestigious WSF Women’s World Team Squash Championship event in 2014. They were officially announced the hosts of 2014 tournament by the World Squash Federation (WSF) earlier this week. White
Oaks Conference Resort & Spa is the event host sporting arena that is situated right at corner of Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario. The tournament will be contested from December 1-6, 2014.
The tournament returns to Canada after eight years. Previously it was hosted in 1981, 1992 and 2006. The sporting arena in the 2006 tournament was Edmonton, Alberta but this time it is being shifted to a much more developed and
facilitated sporting fields of Ontario. It has a greater space for the crowd as well as incorporates greater number of facilities for everyone taking part in the event. It is listed amongst the five star/four diamond playing arena and is surrounded with some
breathtaking views that will definitely attract greater crowd to enjoy the tournament as well as the sceneries.
While conducting the press conference in which the news about Canada’s hosting rights were broadcasted, CEO of WSF said “I know from my own inspection that the facilities at White Oaks would be hard to beat anywhere, so we are
set fair for a great staging to accompany the warm Canadian welcome that the visiting teams from across the globe will certainly receive. Bring on 2014!”

Women’s squash is being followed at greater levels and the number of tournaments contested throughout the year has jumped to 70 which is a great achievement. These tournaments encompass five continents that show that squash is
interesting the new generation women that are eager to perform at elite platforms.
