Canadas energy supplies and energy issues and solutions?

I live in the middle part of Canada and from what I have heard most of Canada uses hydro power.  So there are not really many energy issues like the U.S.A. has, but Ontario is starting to use some green power, i can't remember if it is solar or wind, and B.C. is using green power too.  I suppose that Ontario and Quebec had a lot of big blackouts, but that is because they share a lot of lines with the northern u.s.a. A Solution is that provinces are starting to buy green power from companies, oh yeah Manitoba is starting to use wind power.
