What was the name of the aircraft that was destroyed? (its technology was wayyy after its time and it was developed by scientists from all over the world)

  1. It was the CF-105 Avro Arrow.  Not only were all prototypes destroyed but for a few remaining pieces, but all the engine development as well.  Much has been written on this.
