Canadian ECE credentials in California?

Hi everyone!

I have a 2 year Early Childhood Education diploma from an accredited college (and a B.A. in Multimedia) Will my ECE credentials and field/work experience be enough to get a job in California? Do I HAVE to have Californian credentials to be a preschool teacher? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
