Canadian French Immersion?

Any information about Canadian French Immersion Programs.. Are they working?.. Any links for me to look at? Help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

  1. Look at your local school board's website.  It will be different everywhere in the country.

    Depending on your age.

    Personally, I can recommed you two:

  4. I live in B.C., there are lots of french emmersion schools, and when the kids graduate, they will never speak french again, unless they work for the federal  gov't.

    They would be far better off to learn chinese to get good jobs.

  5. Last time I looked, they hadn't improved from the time that I pulled my kids out in disgust. I also worked in French Immersion elementary classrooms so I had a good chance to evaluate it.

    The scheme that really works is a true French Immersion program run by the Federal Government for college students.

    Some of the private French schools do well if your child goes in really early.
