Can you hunt Canadian Grackles and Starlings?

  2. Yes, but it has to be in a legal spot and you have to have a small games tag.

  3. They make good targets for practice, as i shoot them with my 17hmr loaded with cci tnt bullets or hornady v-max!

  4. I'm sure all states have different laws on what you can shoot, legally.  Where I'm from, I LOVE sitting over a big field and waiting for em to land then blowing them to smithereens with a .22-250 loaded with 40 gr. Hornady V-max's, most of the time you only find a ball of feathers.  

  5. It depends on where you live.  They are considered an invasive species in many places and can be hunted all year long, with no restrictions.  You must check with your game and fish department first.  As for the grackles, I am not sure.

    Just make sure you are legal to hunt them and you identify them properly.  Some similar birds are federally protected and that is a mess you do not want to be in.
