Canadian National Championships: Alex Pang punishes Hoang Nam Vo Le in Men’s Singles second round
Canada’s lofty player Alex Pang proved his supremacy in the arena as he reached into Men’s Singles third round after crushing Hoang Nam Vo Le in second round encounter at 2013 Yonex Canadian National Championships in Canada, on Wednesday, Januarys 30.
The top seeded Alex, who has been playing terrific badminton in recent months, showed his elevated craft on court and he did not face any trouble in giving a punishing treatment Hoang. He took just 23 minutes to wrap up a comprehensive victory.
Alex was confident in the arena and he tested all of his shots to get familiar with court conditions. He did not commit any mistakes and easily won this contest in straight sets with a one-sided score of 21-10 and 21-7.
Meanwhile, the un-seeded Hoang found himself completely helpless against the power play of his top-seeded compatriot. He could not match the pace of rallies and eventually crashed out without making a strong impact on the local crowd.
In the first game, the in-form Alex showed a staggering feat in the arena as he played shots with impressive variations from starting points.
The hard-to-learn skills and remarkable game plan helped Alex to keep his lower ranked challenger in all sorts of trouble on court.
Until the end of starting half of starting game, the aggressive Alex got a strong position on board by taking a reasonable gap.
Hoang tried his best to show aggression but could not take control of the game and remained struggling in the concluding part.
Alex did not slow down the pace of rallies at any stage and easily took the opening game with a reasonable 21-10 margin on the board.
The incredible Alex did not lose his superiority at any stage in the first half of second set as he played with control and aggression.
Until the one-minute break, the impressive Alex remained consistent in playing with command and variations and stayed ahead on the board.
The attacking and positive play in the ending part of second set assisted Alex to grab the set with a reasonable 21-7 score on the board.
