Canadian Open Adoption Questions?

Hi, I'm wondering about open adoption here in Canada. For instance:

Is there a parent profile site like parentprofiles.com for the US?

Do single parents have a harder time adopting?

Is it possible to initiate open adoption between Nova Scotia and the US?

We are doing international, so I don't know about profile directory, but Canada Adopts certainly seems to have a directory. I think open adoption is possible anywhere in north America, especially between Canada and US. But the terms should depend on the birth mother/father and adoptive parent.
