OK, we applied for canada last november... We're supposed to migrate there... Someone employed my father in a restaurant... We already passed all the requirements... The Canadian Immigration said that all our papers are good... And they said it will only take 2-3 months... We're now waiting for their request for physical examination... It's supposed to arrive by January or February but until now, it hasn't arrived YET!!! Will it still arrive? If we already took the medical examination, do we still need to wait long for the decision and for our visa?? Can you estimate when will be able to go there??

BTW, I'm from the Philippines

  1. You still have a bit of a wait on your hands.  Being offered a job in the restaurant field is not high on the list of VISA priorities , if you were coming to Canada to establish a business, or have a skill that is in demand in Canada your wait would be much shorter. Also if you have put a place of residence of choice such as Vancouver, Toronto, or Montreal your wait can even be longer, as those places have high ethnic populations now and Immigration doesn't want everybody from a certain country to flock to one area of the country and not the other.

You'll still get your visa to come, but you do have a wait.
