  1. I think getting the canadian citizenship is easier.

In the United States of America, citizenship takes time to settle and you need time to go and fill all the papers. They'll have to check your conduct and check your reputation. And why does a cute person have to get through all these procedures!

  2. It is really about the same.  I am a US citizen who is now living in Canada and it took almost 4 years for me to get in.  You still have to pass a criminal record check, you still have to have a sponsor and you still have to pass a medical examination.

You have to legally reside in Canada for at least 3 years before you are even eligible for citizenship (basically the same as the US but in the US sometimes you have to wait 10 years).

It is not really easier.  I still costs money (about 1500.00$) and it can still take years to get approval

  3. the problem is.. you have already broken the law and you will have a whole lot of explaining to do when you apply.

Go home... apply for the country you would like to live in.  I would like to point out that Brazil is doing really well.  So is Argentina, and so is Uruguay.  If you don't like Mexico, change that government, or move to a place where you can get in quickly.

  4. I assume you are living legally somewhere right now and have not been deported from anywhere.  Otherwise you might have a problem.  If no problem, you can immigrate to Canada via temporary work permit and provincial nominee program, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/p...

I don't know your skills and education but even if you don't have a lot of edcation, British Columbia and Alberta also offer immigration classes for semi-skilled workers.  Once you have a temporary work permit, you can come over, work at your job, apply for permanent residency through your employer, should have it within a year, stay another 3 years in Canada as a PR, apply for citizenship, wait for a year for it to get processed so total about 5 years.
