Ontario is kind of sliding into a really poor economic state right now, much the same as the US.  Prices in pretty much all areas keep climbing,  It all depends on where you go, but I can tell you that where I live in Northwestern Ontario it is getting so expensive to live that we are considering relocating to a different province!
