So obviously I'm Canadian... and I'm interested to go (preferably an Ivy League) American University.

Other than having to take SAT's... is there anything else that is required?

I need details!

I'm heading into gr.11 now, so I need to prepare myself to make this possible.

  1. Why yes, my Canadian cousin, there are lots of things to consider.  Your GPA, class standing, demonstrated leadership qualities, volunteer work, your school rankings, what special talents you offer, are you outstanding in sports as well as academics, your reasons for wanting to attend an Ivy League school as opposed to say McGill Uni.

As you no doubt already know, competition to gain entrance is extremely high.  They receive applications for all over the world & their acceptance standards are also very high.

I'd get online & start researching the prospective schools you're interested in & narrow down those where you have the best chances based on your abilities & what you have to offer.

    Best wishes.
