Canadian student visa?

Stupid question, but...

I'm American. The $125 fee for the student visa is 125 Canadian dollars, right? Do I need to do a currency exchange at the airport before I get my visa then?

the exchange rate is about even right now.  most places in canada will accept american dollars, however i dont know if this is true when buying a visa because youre dealing with the government.  and dont exchange money at the airport... they rip you off.  if you have a debit card just use an atm and get canadian cash, or if you only have american cash, go to a bank to get it converted.
