Canadian/usa Border+Airport Security?

alright, heres a little summarize for my question, me and my buds want to participate in a huge Dday reinactment in oklahoma, and we live in canada ontario, if we drive, will we be able to cross the border with out paintball guns/gear, or will it get confiscated, also same question but if we go on a plane.
