Canadian weather in october....?

Hi,

I'm going to Montreal in October (I'm form the uk) and would like to know what weather, and the sort of temperatures I can expect for the first two weeks of oct.

  1. It would be difficult to say for sure.  It could still be fairly mild if we are having what is called "Indian Summer".  Or we could get some cold winds blowing down from the North.  It's not likely that there will be snow yet, but it is a possibility.  I would pack sweaters and boots just in case.  You will most likely see temperatures in the 40 to 60 degree Fahrenheit range.  The trees should be all orange and yellow and red.  Very beautiful this time of year.  Enjoy your visit !!


  2. The nights will be cool so you need a jacket for sure between 45 to 55 degrees F. In the day 65 to 75 degrees sometimes windy and rainy.
