  1. With each passing day I come to hate the conservative government more and more. What the h**l are they doing? The Bush presidency clearly did not work well. Bush has an atrocious (and well deserved) approval rating and yet here we have our government seemingly doing whatever they can to suck bag to the neocons of the united states. Blech. You will not be getting my vote Conservatives. Dion, or even an inanimate object would do less harm at this point. GET OUT OF OUR COUNTRY'S PARLIAMENT.

And I think this bill is absolutely ridiculous, the government will never be able to completely stop file sharing its impossible, and the only people this bill will help is the conservatives.

    THE CONSERVATIVES ARE CORRUPT!

  2. C-61 is a deeply flawed bill which as sold by Jim Prentice results to false advertising.

Prentice claims that you will be able to format shift and time shift but you can't break DRM to do it.  With digital TV most things have digital locks on it - essentially the "rights" Prentice gave don't exist.

Prentice also has refused to talk to Canadians about C-61.  He has refused to answer the most simple question related to the Bill dismissing anything related to DRM as "extremely technical."

As you might assume, I'm strongly opposed to C-61 in it's current form.  We don't need the failed DMCA in Canada - we need an actually made in Canada Bill that makes sense.
