Canadians. How many of you are for / against g*y marriage?

I am a Canadian who has been out of the country since before g*y marriage became legal and haven't been back since. I'm curious what the concensus in Canada is at the moment.

It depends on personal experiences etc..

I'm not g*y,but my sister is a L*****n.

She's going to adopt the kid that her girlfriend is pregnant with (via a sperm donor from a clinic).

They're not looking for marraige though, but they appreciate the fact that they are free to marry in certain places so..

I'm for not sure against equality in any way - so I guess I'm open minded enough to be for it?

I know it's against the bible and the whole, "it's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Adam" thing, but.. well..

My family are athiests as well..

Which means we personally shouldn't even care about marraige at all to begin with because marraige involves the church..

YET... athiests marry all the time so..

we dont care, as long as it aint bugging us or doing any harm to us were ok with it.. people should be free to love who ever they want.. as long as it aint hurtin me =) I was born in canada but now live in America

Speaking as a Canadian, I can tell you that most of my friends are proud that we live in such a progressive and inclusive place. Our g*y friends, whom we love dearly, deserve every right and freedom that is afforded to every citizen of this fantastic country. I wouldn't change a thing!
