Canadians What Do You Think Of Your Country's Involvement In Afghanistan?

I am not Canadian but would like to know what do you think. PLEASE READ BEFORE ANSWERING.

Do you think you are there cleaning up the mess created by the US government many years ago when they choose to take sides in the afghanistan's civil war, even donating money and contributing weapons to the mujahidin which later became the Taliban. At the same time the US government was also providing Sadam Hussein with weapons which he later used to invade Quwait. Unfortunately innocent Americans had to pay the price for our leader's arrogance when 9/11 happened.

OR do you think you are there to help the people of Afghanistan and give the women a better life.

  I live in Toronto and I think we need them back here to get the terrorists off the streets it costs us plenty to keep them on welfare and hospitalization after they have been wounded in Afghanistin.
