It has been widely reported that the PM intends to ask the Govenor General to dissolve Parliament and call an election

Then opposition leader Harper almost cried when Liberal PM Chretian refused to send troops into the death trap of Iraq a war based on a lie and a war with no end in sight - Will Harper just sign us up for any and all American wars if he got a majority ?

He claimed as if an echo of Bush that there is no such thing as global warming or climate change - Suddenly changing his tune when Dion was elected and then and only then he tried to out green the green party - but what actions has this PM taken except to dump Kyoto and hide behind useless excuses of the Americans won't do it so there is no point China won't do it so there is no point etc

Is it time to do to Harper what was done to Mulrooney -and reduce the party back down to 2 seats ?

Dion will pay the price if there's an election, we don't want an election and dion's forcing it to happen by not letting parliament function, the next scheduled election is Oct-09, there's no reason not to wait until then

It is way overtime to have an election and defeat Bush clone Harper. He is in the process of destroying Canadian sovereignty, and he's a religious fanatic to boot. He allowed the RCMP, to give false information about a Syrian Canadian citizen who was taken off a plane in the US to be tortured in Syria. He is blocking the Marijuana Reform Laws, as well allowing Canadian soldiers to fight and die in a senseless war in Afghanistan.Lastly, he has allowed US military personnel seeking refuge in Canada, to be deported to the US.The Liberals don't have very clean hands either.. I think that an NDP government would defend Canada and the workers most effectively.

Harper did bring in a law that made a fixed election date for October 2009.

We know know that the Iraq war was a mistake. But who knew at the time that Iraq did not have WMD? If and when Iran possesses nuclear weapons, given its comments about Israel not having the right to exist, it will be the right move to attack Iran.

Dion did nothing about the enviornment when it power. Dion's plan now is to bring in a new carbon tax. Resent history has shown when gas prices were a few cents a litre more, it did not stop people from driving. A carbon tax will only raise more money for the government, and will not reduce carbon emmissions.

You mention Mulroney. The GST was the last time I remember a politition promising that a tax will be revenue neutral. You know how that worked out. The Liberals would not have been able to spend like crazy for 13 years if they did have the billions of extra dollars the GST brought in.

Do you realy want Dion as PM? He is a dual Canadian/France citizen, and despite the flake the GG when through in 2005, he has not denounced his french citizenship.

I have never seen another party criticize the government, but not stand up and defeat it then when there were countless confidence votes.

I am ready to re-elect Harper.
