Are Canadian people aloud to visit the country Oman just for a vacation or does there have to be a special reason, or get permission?

  1. Well I am Canadian and have been to Oman.  I just went across the border from Al Ain, UAE and didn't even go through a boarder check.  According to http://www.voyage.gc.ca/dest/report-en.a... you only need a passport as a tourist.


  2. Canadians are allowed to enter Oman and they get visa on arrival either by road at border with UAE or at the airport. you dont need any special permission to enter Oman. visit www.rop.gov.om for visa details.
