I currently have a design business here in Canada, and thanks to sites like craigslist I get some business in the states, I don't make much per job but added all together, I make a good sum of money. My question is some of my customers want to meet me in person to discuss futher details and new jobs, can I go there to do that? I mean legally? When they ask if its for pleasure or business, I know if I say pleasure they'll just let me pass but how about if I say business? When do you say business?

  1. Of course you can, you are a Canadian citizen, you are more than welcome to do business here in the states, and I for one welcome it.

  2. I come to Kitchner, Ontario once a year for a sales meeting,

Ive never had an issue when I tell them this passing into Canada
