I think Laura Secord and Jennie Trout had the "greatest impact" on Canadian history.

Laura Secord: Canada's Most Famous Heroine.During the war of 1812, a brave woman set out on a perilous journey in the service of her country, and stepped forever into the history and folklore of Niagara.

Jennie Trout: In 1875, she became the first woman licensed to practice medicine in Canada

Nellie McClung: She was one of the most important leaders of Canada's first wave of feminism

Agnes Macphail: She began her career as a country schoolteacher. Interested in agricultural problems, she became a member and active spokesperson for the United Farmers of Ontario.

Without a doubt Laura Secord...which Canadian kid doesn't remember his first Superkid cone with that little chocolate on top.  I know I do.  Jennie Trout had a better heritage canada commericial when she walks to the front of the class to expose the reproductive organs.

I have to say Laura Secord because she saved Canada from not loosing the war against the US. If it wasn't for her Canada wouldn't be a country (I think) :-)
