Interesting what you say also. Some people I can hardly hear also with Bell. Maybe it is Bell or it is my phone...have to put the volume up about 10 times.

I'm with Sympatico as well, and am actually not really having any problems with it at the moment. When I first signed on with Bell there was issue upon issue though...guess we've got our bugs worked out now. Before that I was with Rogers, and trust me, it was way worse, so you don't want to go that route. Had Rogers home phone too, and it was terrible. Connection was always crappy and could hardly hear the people on the other end of the conversation....was having issues with the cable hook up to the apartment. Between the two of them, I think I spent more time on the phone with Bell and Rogers representatives than I did with people that I actually know and like to talk to. What the person above me says is interesting, though. I think I'll check that out, too, if only in the interest of saving money.

We use Shaw for digital cable  digital cable and internet

I have Vianet, and I absolutely love it. I also have VOIP with them as well, and am now only paying $12.95/month for home phone with all the trimmings(call display, call waiting, voice answer, three way calling). Take that Bell!

*I had it with Bell, and finally decided to switch. We now pay $68.43/month for the highest speed DSL with unlimited downloads, and the home phone. I have long distance to anywhere in Canada/US for 3 cents a minute all day, all night, but you can always purchase the unlimited plan for $19.99/month if you use it a lot. We have only had a few minor problems, when the net has gone down for maybe ten minutes or so during a bad storm, or when Bell shorted out all the lines doing work on the box for the entire subdivision. Check it out. I've had it about a year now, and love it. I will never go back to Bell, unless its by force.
