  1. Inland Waterways Association - IWA

Association of Waterways Cruising Clubs - AWCC

National Association of Boat Owners - NABO

Residential Boat Owners Association - RBOA

Various clubs for owners of particular boats - e.g. Sea Otter Owners Club

Canal Societies, e.g. Litchfield & Hatherton Trust, Staffs & Worcester Canal Society

All have web sites - just ask Google

Why not come to the NEC Boat, Camping, Caravan & Leisure Show next month - many of the Associations will have stands with reps there.

  2. Google it mate.

  3. IWA - Inland waterways association

The largest and most active, they campaign, organise rallies, lobby BW and parliament

Add to that you will have local groups for each canal such as the Shropshire Union Canal Society or the Sharpness Society.

Also, the WRG ( Waterways recovery group ) are a speciial interest society that arrange workign parties to restore canals.

  4. I used to belong to the RBOA "residential boat owners association",,but they cater for everyone using boats on the waterways,,,there are many other organisations and clubs and I would suggest you buy Waterways World or Canal Monthly magazines to keep an eye for associations in the small ads,,,
