I couldn't agree more.  If we didn't lose our halfback last week, we could have given this comp a real shake.  I think the Raiders are playing a very exciting brand of footy at the moment, and Melbourne are starting to look a bit vulnerable.  The Raiders have really made other teams stand up and take notice.

So much for being the favorites for the Wooden Spoon.

Sorry to put a downer on your enthusiasm dude but I personally think they are on a downhill spiral now.  Great team and have done so well, but just like the titans, too many injuries to keep it up and make it all the way.  I dont see the Raiders lasting long in Finals football

The Raiders blew it on the weekend. Beating Nth Queensland would have seen them a chance for a top 4 spot, not now. Canberra have been magnificent but a team can only lose so many players before it starts to affect their performance. Losing their half (as well as Carney) and one of their few remaining props, they just don't have the firepower. For goodness sake, they had to play Tongue out of his lock position.

If you consider they have no household names, they have had the worst run of injuries of any team I can remember plus the off field dramas and are still giving teams touch ups everyweekend, you may not be far off the mark. I think everyone had a little soft spot for the raiders because of the great sides of the late 80s early 90s. Whenever they talk of player transfers I always hope that raiders get some big names cause they deserve it. I think they mat have used all their luck for this year though.

I don't think they are, I see Melbourne and Cronulla equal first, which Manly will be aswell......and also, Canberra lost to the Cowboys on the weekend
