Cancelled directv, now i have two boxes i have to send back, ask for a labeled box to send the old box back??

Why don't you try to contact a local sub-contractor that does the half a** installations? They have sub-contractors that will install the equipmant when DirectTv gets overloaded with work, these sub's have pretty much the same contacts as DirectTv. Why not try calling them and ask about getting a new system put in at your friends house. Do the story that they asked you to look into it because they are not up to date on the tech stuff and they knew you had the system so you need to know how to go about getting them set up. After you have them eating out of your hands throw in there that you have two recievers that you need to send back to DirecTv and ask them how you can get the shipping label? I know this sounds sneaky but why doesn't DirecTv have a customer service number? Is this the Rudy that has the nice place up in Orwell and worked at Dish Network for a while in 05?
