Cancer instead of a baby?

got 1 answer not what im looking fore after 7 to 8 months doctor said there was no baby all long cancer instead can that happen and how

  1. I don’t see how it could. Is this a serious question?

    The doctor would have done a pregnancy test.

    Ultrasounds would have been done.

    The woman would not have felt a baby move.

    There would be little change in her b*****s.

    Cancer symptoms would have become persistent.


  2. Yes, this can happen. There are tumors that can mimic a pregnancy called Gestational trophoblastic disease, some are benign and some can be cancerous. It is difficult to say if this is what you are talking about or not.  These used to be called 'molar pregnancies' .

    These types of tumor or cancer can give a positive pregnancy test. One type, choriocarcinoma, can occur early after a fetus is lost, but the tumor continues growing.
