Cancers are INSENSITIVE & have NO Emotions!

Question

I'm a Sagittarius, and MOST of the Cancers I met are callous & act "tough". (I can't say "all", b/c I haven't MET every single one [thank god j/k], but I would love to.)

Aquas, Scorpios, Caps, Geminis, and SAGITARIUSES are supposed to be the "insensitive" ones, but most of the people I know under those signs (myself included) definitely would NOT pass as the Tin-Man (ohh if only I had a heart...LOL). I think the Tin Man was a cancer.

The Pisces I've met are mostly true to their sign - compassionate, sensitive (although a little too sensitive, they don't last around me too long) ;P

So, do you (dis)agree? For those who want to reply that "astrology is bunk", kindly refrain yourself. ((And if you think it's such BS why are you even spending your precious time on the Horoscopes section - hmm??))

you might think that Cancers are callous and tough because of our shell. we hide our emotions and soft side until we feel comfortable. that act we play is to protect us from getting hurt and revealing too much.

I dont think thats true. all cancers I have met have been very emotional. Ive know all who have moon in cancer to be very emotional too. the guys in cancer put on a front that seems tough but if you were to call them out on something so simple as youre lame, theyll keep quiet for the rest of the time and then ponder for a WHILE later.

yes, i agree; with a reason.

cancers are protective/ defensive by nature. period.

get a good grasp of this very nature of them, and you can understand them well. when we show our emotions, we are called weak, mopey, wishy washy, emotional towel, etc and when we dont, we are called insensitive, cold, brash, etc. what gives?

so it is very much convenient to just stay and act cold and be insensitive until we've gained your trust.

plus, cancers have great intuition of whom to trust from the get go. there are people who we can connect instantaneously, whereas, some a bit "off", our alert alarm sets off and we'd start to be very very cautious with these people.



this might sound strange to you, but possibly the cancers you know are insensitive and unemotional to you, is partly due to their own self inferiority complex and partly because you gave them a reason to be that way. no brainer. lol.

The tougher and gruffer a Crab appears, the more of soft heart he/she possesses. You would never know what a gentle and caring creature I am by the way I put walls up around myself (when it comes to people I don't know or trust). I wouldn't say that Caps are insensitive at all, and Scorpios are EXTREME feelers.  Sag and Gemini aren't unemotional entirely, just able to seperate themselves from their feelings. This is impossible for Cancer.

my dear friend is a cancer, and is SOOOO EMOTIONAL!!! But I love him anyways. Its like if he gets hurt or wounded (which he totally does easily) then he has to draw into his little crab shell, and snap at any approaching people with their little snappers. What they're doing is protecting their marshmallow core. Then he has to sulk for a little while, then he's okay again.

I'm a sag too. I'm firey. Emotional in bursts. Sag's have big hearts.

My mom is a Cancer and she's very emotional. You could say "BOO" and she cries. I have two other friends who are Cancers and they put on and act like nothing bothers them.

I'm a Sag also and I'm sensitive and I get emotional I just don't do it in front of people.

Well I'm a Cancer I my rising sign is Sagittarius, I can be pretty compassionate and empathetic to people at times. Cancers are very very good at hiding their emotions. A negative for all the water signs is that they can be sneaky and secretive. Most that I know are caring people and not cold or callous at all. Maybe the ones you know have strong influences in their charts to make them seem more insensitive to you.

LOL! Well i have to disagree i think Cancers just want to appear that way, which in actually fact they're really sensitive sadly they just want to hide their emotions. Sometimes i do that too but not to the extend of Cancers.

WE CAN BE INSENSITIVE IT DEPENDS ON THE SITUATION AND THE PEOPLE INVOLVED...  BUT WE ARE SENSATIVE  IN A SENSE THAT WE ARE SENSATIVE TO WHATS GOING ON AROUND US WE CAN PICK UP THINGS WITHOUT ANYBODY SAYING ANYTHING... WE CAN PICK UP VIBES EASILY...WE CAN READ MINDS EASILY... WE HAVE LOTS OF EMOTIONS  ALL DAY EVERYDAY SUM JUST MAY NOT TALK ABOUT IT OR TRY TO COVER IT UP..... BUT YAH AS FAR AS US BEIN INSENSATIVE IF WE FEEL COMFORTABLE OPENING UP TO U THEN U CAN SEE THE REAL PERSON THAT THEY ARE... WE LIKE TO BE AT PEACE WITH FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES BUT U DEFINATLEY HAVE TO TRY AND GAIN THEIRE LOVE AND TRUST THEN U WILL C HOW WE REALLY ARE...WE CAN BE UR BEST AND TRUEST FRIEND OR YOUR WORST ENEMY... They are one of the most emotional signs of the zodiac...

It's just that you don't understand it since you are a fire sign-fiery and loves action and simply not that emotional.
