been there 4 times no trouble at all buses 24/7 all over cheap as chips loads to do and see get a day trip ti Chechen itza see the Mayan temples highly recommend it and it is well away from the flooding try not to go in Jan and Feb too hot its their summer it is quite hot in June their winter

Hi, Yes, Cancun is Safe, you are thinking about Tabasco, which was flooded, and it's hours away from Cancun.

Everything here is fine and dandy, so come on down and enjoy yourself. No Idea what the previous guy is on, but there is NO White water rafting here.

Its a popular place to go, so yes. Mexico is a beautiful place.. overwhelmingly gentle and full of color and life. WHen most people think of Mexico they pictured the border ad what has tainted it. Not the massive rest of it. I go to Mexico all the time.. so yes.. it is safe. :)
