Question:

Cancun Beache Customs?

I am going to cancun in november with my two tennage children, and staying in a hotel on the beach. I was just wondering if the beaches promote nudity at all, because I'm not sure if I want them exposed to that or not, and I mean even just girls laying topless. Any nudity is questionable.

  1. It depends on what type of beach you are on. If it is a private beach operated by a resort, it more than likely could be topless. A public beach, however, would not have that amount of nudity. I have been to both in Cancun, and we only saw anyone topless on the beach that was privately owned and run by our resort.

  2. When we were there in 2002 our resort had a booklet in the room that stated "topless sunbathing is allowed but not advertised, full nudity is strictly prohibited".  That was at the Moon Palace which is considered a family resort.

  3. Well, I was there for spring break, i.e. lots of young, drunken youths and unfortunately did not see any nudity. Since that's the busiest time of year, I doubt you will run into any problems. However, the beach isn't really enforced y anyone so anything goes, but people do control themselves. I wouldn't let them wander off without you though, I was drinking with two 16 year old girls at a bar at 1 a.m.

  4. haha you already bought everything? you should have thought about that before you spent your money.

  5. you will see topless girls but that's all

  6. The beach allows topless however it is rare to see. No nudity unless you go to a hotel that promotes that and the public would never be allowed to witness.

I don't think that you will have any problems. November is more of family vacations in Cancun.

    Have a great vacation.
