Cancun...Restaurants?

Thanks for the great info on places to visit while in Cancun.

Now I'm looking to find some great restaurants while I'm there.

I'm not looking for anything in the hotel zone. I'd like to find some inexpensive good places where the locals eat.....any kind of restaurant is fine maybe a seafood restaurant if anyone knows of one. Thanks!!

We went to El Coyote 2 last time we were there in May. Excellent food!! I had the garlic shrimp, as did another member of our party. About a dozen huge shrimp! Another person had seafood soup and my wife had chicken fajitas. We all had 2 or 3 beers. Total bill..... $43!!  This place is about 15-20 minutes outside of the hotel zone. Very safe and they were happy to see tourists there. Our friends that live down there took us.
