Cancun clubs and drinking help!?

Question

A group of us are going to cancun. One is only 17, the other two are 18. We really wanted to do the party hopper pass, but will they id all of us? or should we just try coco bongo and forget about the pass?

you should be ok but if you run into any hard asses all you got to do is tip him some money and you'll have no more problems

I heard cocobongo was the best place to go, i'm not sure if a 17 year old can get in, I asked that question earlier but nobody responded.

The official drinking age in Mexico is 18, but many places, especially in touristic places like Cancun allow people as young as 16.  I have never seen Coco Bingo checking IDs.  they go more for how they look, rather than IDs.

Coco Bongo is a great place.  You can definitely have fun all night long there.  They have a great atmosphere and an excellent show.  The all inclusive fee (admission and drinks) appears to be worth it, but it is a pain to get drinks from the bar after a while.  It is sometime better to buy a bottle for the group.

Have tons of fun, but please be careful.

I've been to Cancun twice and they never ID'd anyone in my group for any clubs. You should be fine.
